Learn the ins and outs of working in a business support role. This entry-level qualification allows individuals across a variety of industry sectors to develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare for work.
Packaging Rules
To complete this qualification you will need to complete 6 units .
2 core units and 4 elective units
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

FSKDIG002 Use digital technology for routine and simple workplace tasks
BSBWHS211 Contribute to the health and safety of self and others

Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites for entry to this qualification, however Far North Training & Consultancy has the following selection criteria for this course:
The participant will be required before enrolling to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment to determine what level of support the participant may need to assist them through their study program.
Delivery
Program can be delivered face-to-face in a classroom environment.
For participants under contract with the Australian Apprenticeship Centre and an employer, delivery of training will be in the workplace.
Awards Issued
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the Qualification:
BSB10120 Certificate I in Workplace Skills.
Licensing Requirements
There are no licensing requirements for this qualification.
Duration
Program duration for a full time student is an average of 6 months. Some students may complete the course in a shorter time frame.
Location
Mossman - Far North Training & Consultancy 11 Johnston Rd, classroom delivery.
Apprenticeship/Traineeship - training is conducted on-site at each individual employer’s venue in Far North Queensland.
