Aim
This course is designed for individuals who need skills to prepare for a vocational pathway qualification or further foundation studies development.
It is suitable for those individuals who require a:
Prevocational pathway to employment and vocational training
Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) level 3
Entry level digital technology and employability skills
Education, training and employment goals.

This qualification requires you to complete 14 units. Electives may vary depending on individual circumstances, job role or local industry requirements..
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites for entry to this qualification, however, it is recommended for participants to have level 2 ACSF across all core skills. Far North Training & Consultancy also has the following selection criteria for this course:
The participant will be required before enrolling to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment to determine what level of support the participant may need to assist them through their study program.
Award Issued
Students successfully completing all the listed competencies will achieve:
FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways.
Students who achieve some of the listed competencies will receive a Statement of Attainment for those units that they have demonstrated competency.

Six months.
