Low voltage rescue

This accredited course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond to an electrical emergency using a low voltage rescue kit and perform CPR on a casualty who has stopped breathing. Outline

  • Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel.

  • Carry out rescue from live LV panel.

  • Complete the LV panel rescue procedure.

Entry Requirements

  • It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor.

  • Appropriate clothing will need to be considered due to the nature of practical assessment.

Delivery

Face-to-face in a small group training environment.

Award Issued

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the Statement of Attainment for: 

  • UETTDRRF06B Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel

  • HLTAID001 Provide CPR.

Recommended Requirements

It is recommended this unit be renewed every 12 months in line with industry standards.

NOTE: Some organisations require LVR to be re-assessed every six months. Please check with your employer.

  • 4 Hours face-to-face practical training.*
